Laura Gordon
Educational Background & Credentials
Laura has a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, Georgia and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Richmond, Virginia. Laura has always had a passion for helping others through an understanding of human behavior and psychology. She began her counseling career in 2008 at a church counseling center in Atlanta. From 2010-2012 Laura worked in residential treatment for teens in foster care before moving to The Soul Care House from 2012-2020, a private practice providing individual and family therapy. Laura has also led Art Therapy groups and workshops for teens and adults. You can see her creative side come out in her creative solutions to problems, positive outlook on life, and exuberance for other’s joys and triumphs.
Laura is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #87200), member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and affiliated with the Christian Association of Psychological Services (CAPS).
